Provident Entertainment Signs Worship Leader Charles Weems

Provident Entertainment announces the signing of rising worship leader Charles Weems to its artist roster. Marking a major milestone in his growing ministry and music career, Weems releases his label debut single, “I Will Follow”.

Already generating strong momentum, “I Will Follow” amassed more than 5,000 pre-saves, an exceptional achievement for a developing artist in the worship genre and a testament to the growing anticipation surrounding Weems’ music and message.

Co-written with Caylie Bryant and produced by Josh Holiday (ELEVATION RHYTHM), “I Will Follow” is a declaration of trust and surrender, reflecting a deeply personal season of learning to follow God faithfully and embrace His timing.

Raised in the small coastal town of Vero Beach, Florida, Weems has always been rooted in the local church. Coming from generations of ministry, his great-grandparents helped start the family church, and today his father leads the congregation. Surrounded by worship, community, and legacy from an early age, Weems says his calling has never been centered on platform or recognition, but on serving the Church and leading people into the presence of God.

“Everything starts with the local church for me,” explains Charles Weems. “I’ve always believed my first calling is simply to serve and to be available to God and obedient wherever He leads. My prayer is that these songs help people encounter Jesus in a real and personal way.”

“Charles carries a rare combination of humility, authenticity, and deep spiritual conviction,” says Holly Zabka, President of Provident Entertainment. “From the moment we connected with him, it was clear his heart is to serve the Church first. We’re honored to partner with him and excited for people to experience these songs.”

Weems first gained widespread attention with his independently released 2024 worship anthem, “Slow Me Down,” which quickly went viral and has since amassed over 34 million lifetime streams. Written during a season of surrender and spiritual recalibration, the song resonated deeply with listeners navigating similar journeys of trusting God over ambition.

Describing his songwriting as “prayers in the form of melodies,” Weems continues to create music marked by humility, honesty, and Spirit-led worship. His partnership with Provident Entertainment signals a new chapter as he prepares to release more music that reflects his heart for ministry and authentic worship.

[Music] Healing Streams – Same OG Ft. David Nkennor

In a time where gospel music continues to evolve and transcend boundaries, acclaimed gospel voices Same OG and David Nkennor come together in a deeply spiritual and intentional body of work titled Healing Streams, an 8-track project designed to create an atmosphere where worship meets healing, and where alignment with God feels intimate, personal, and real.

More than a collaboration, Healing Streams feels like divine orchestration.

Built as a 28-minute immersive worship experience, the project carries listeners through moments of surrender, celebration, stillness, gratitude, proclamation, and spiritual awakening. Every track flows intentionally into the next, creating what can best be described as a living stream of sound and encounter.

At the center of the album are two powerful focus tracks:

“Loud” emerges as a fearless and unfiltered declaration of praise, a worship expression that refuses to remain silent. Bold, passionate, and overflowing with reverence, the song captures the sound of hearts fully yielded to God.

On the other hand, “Daalu (Thank You)” offers a softer, deeply reflective moment rooted in gratitude. Inspired by the richness of the Igbo language and culture, the song becomes a tender thanksgiving offering, expressing heartfelt appreciation to God for His faithfulness and grace.

Across all eight tracks, Healing Streams blends worship, Afro-gospel energy, intimacy, and spiritual depth into one seamless experience. Each artist brings a distinct voice, culture, and sound, yet together they merge effortlessly into one unified flow.

What makes the project especially powerful is its sense of alignment, two different expressions moving as one stream, without competition, distraction, or noise. The result is a project that does not merely entertain, but ministers deeply to the soul.

As gospel music continues to expand globally, Healing Streams stands as more than an album release. It is a spiritual atmosphere translated into sound. One album. Eight tracks. One stream, still flowing, still healing.
