Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Stanford began singing at just six years old and quickly developed a passion for using music to encourage others in their faith. After releasing her debut EP Bloom at age seventeen, her song “I’m a Believer” was featured on the soundtrack for Palau the Movie and played in theaters nationwide.
Now based in Nashville for the past three years, Stanford continues carving out her own lane in Christian music through heartfelt songwriting and transparent storytelling that consistently points listeners back to the love of Jesus.
“Rise” was born out of the emotional exhaustion many people feel from nonstop headlines, social media pressure, and the tension of modern culture. Rather than dwelling in hopelessness, the song redirects listeners toward the unchanging promises of God.
